I just found out that the photo included in this post was picked to be in a online travel guide for the city of Detroit. The really funny part is that the photo was taken using my iPhone, the last time I was in Detroit. My best friend wanted to go to a Detroit Tiger Baseball game where the photo was taken, I never would have thought someone would want to put the picture in a travel guide for the city of Detroit. So has the title says you never know what you may get!
You never know what you’ll get!

What to write about…

Brainstorming ideas to blog about is really hard; however, I am thinking about what to write about cause for whatever reason I have a hunger to write things.
Thoughts about boot camp

Well I’ve been out of Navy boot camp for about three going on four weeks. Boot camp wasn’t as hard as I expected it to me, but it was always easy either. The hard parts came when I was getting punished by doing 100 jumping jacks, or doing a 100 push ups. Most of boot camp I enjoyed, it was sort of fun, though I am still very glad to be out of boot camp. “A” School is going pretty well, though I am stuck in one area of my training right now, and trying to study so I can test out of the section. I guess the worst part of “A” School is the boredom, and finding things to do when I have free time.Well this is it for tonight, I really can’t think of anything else to write about.
Obama isn’t ready to be President

Obama has made several mistakes since starting his campaign, and I think he is doing a great discredit to all men. He is giving men a bad name, and making us all look stupid. I would even have to say he is pushing back all the progress men have made over many years with all of his gaffes.
Obama soon to be President says we have 57 states?
In this first video the great Obama says he’s visited 57 states. I didn’t know we now have 57 states.
Obama refers to female reporter as “Sweetie”
In this video Obama refers to a lady reporter as “Sweetie” when she attempts to ask a few questions. According to the Washington Post, “Her crime for getting the “sweetie” treatment was asking Obama what he plans to do to help American autoworkers. As Agar put it, “This ’sweetie’ never did get an answer to that question.”"
Obama has no idea what is spoken in Afghanistan
According to wikipedia in Afghanistan they speak “Persian (Dari dialects) and Pashto.”
Here are two links with more info on some of the mistakes Barack Obama has made. Barack Gaffes as of May 21, 2008 and also check out obamasgaffes.blogspot.com
So my point in all of this is to point out that if you are going to call Palin stupid, if you are going to say is doing a disservice to all women, if Palin isn’t ready to be President because of the gaffes she has made since becoming VP, then shouldn’t we look at Obama? I mean those of you that complain about Palin’s gaffes are looking like morons not even remembering all the gaffes Obama has made! So next time you start to complain about Palin, just remember your candidate has done much, much worse!
My Five favorite web sites

I have several web sites I love but that list would be to long. So I’m only going to name five of them.
1. www.Friendfeed.com – FriendFeed is useful to collect all the diiferent things you do on the Internet and store them all in one place. Furthermore, if you have friends that may want to see what pictures you’ve posted, or see what web sites you added to your delicious favorite then Friend Feed can help you out with that. Friend feed has several services to add, and a very big community of people to chat with.
2. www.Flickr.com – Flickr is a great place to show off photos you’ve taken, wheather be for other family members to view or if you are looking for advice from other photographers.
3. www.Drudgereport.com – What makes the Drudge Report special is that it looks for unique and interesting news from all over the web. The web site doesn’t focus on one topic either, and in my opinion the Drudge Report is the single best web site on the Internet hands down!
4. www.imgfave.com – I realize I already mentioned one photo site but the unique quality of ImgFave is that if you see any pictures you like on the Internet you can add them to ImgFave with the help of a bookmarklet. You are also sure to find a treasure trove of interesting pictures.
5. www.techmeme.com – The cool thing about techmeme is that it lists top news stories in the technology industry. Also it’s changes every few minuates new stories are posted from around the interwebs.
So what web sites do you like?? I wanna know, cause if there’s something better then what I have listed don’t you think I should be going there?
Navy future

In five months I’m going into the Navy; which, means moving out of my parents home, going to boot camp, and becoming a totally different person. I’m scared, excited, hopeful, and amazed. I haven’t been doing has many push ups as I should and I have a test coming up in January when I have to do around 40 push ups, 50 sit ups, and run a mile and half. I doubt I’d be going in the Navy if I hadn’t failed in so many classes, but on the other hand I wanted to go to school more after getting my two year degree and I didn’t know where the money would come from. I’m not trying to say I’m going into the Navy because I failed school and needed money for any future educational goals. What I’m saying is I believe the first plan I had didn’t work out and this is a second idea. No one even forced me to join.
I am looking forward to the experiences, fun, and money I will have in the Navy. Also, I still want to go back to School but I need to decide what I want to do with my life.
So this is future Navy guy signing off!
Songs at Star Bucks

I really love that every time I walk in Star Bucks I can get a free song through iTunes. Some of the songs are really good. So if you want free music and listen to musical artists you’ve never heard go to your local Star Bucks!
